Please keep the family of Bishop J. Terry Steib, SVD, in your prayers. Bp. Steib's father, Mr. Rosemond Steib, Jr., died May 7, 2010, at the age of 94, his funeral was May 11, 2010. I just found out from the forwarded message from NABCA below:

Mr. Rosemond Steib, Jr., age 94, born February 24, 1916, died on Friday, May 7, 2010. A native and resident of Vacherie, LA. Survived by sons… the Most Rev. J. Terry Steib of Memphis, TN, Joseph A. Steib of Vacherie, LA and Kenneth P. Steib of Vacherie, LA; daughter, Sylvia Vinnett of St. Rose, LA. Rosemond is also survived by his sisters Veronica and Viola; daughters-in-law Rhonda and Joyce-lyn Steib both of Vacherie, LA; and sons-in-laws Euris Clark of Vacherie, LA and Milton Vinnett of St. Rose, LA. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who mourn his death.
He was a life-long member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, LA. Visitation took place on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, 8:00 a.m. until the scheduled funeral time 11:00 a.m.
At the funeral were the Most Rev. Curtis J. Gillory, SVD of Beaumont and the Most Rev. Robert W. Muench the Bishop of Baton Rouge. Priests from the Society of the Divine Word, Diocese of Memphis were present along with Deacons from the Diocese of Memphis.

Alicia has been bedside with her sister since early this morning as she is preparing to make her transition with the Lord. Let us lift the family of Pamela Ware along with her three children in prayers.
